# Installation

Don't place the dongles in a metal box. The wireless signals couldn't leave the box and a connection couldn't be established.

The dongles are already paired and ready to use. Just follow the steps below.

* Plugin the **Master** = smart meter dongle
* Connect the V**irtual** dongle to a usb adapter via de usb-c port
* Connect a device to the P1 Out port (the port beside the green terminal)

You are ready!

The data should delivered at the virtual dongle, flashing blue led.

## Leds

Smart meter dongle:

* red led indication the power. Should always be on
* blue led: indicating data transmission

Virtual meter dongle:

* green led indication the power. Should always be on
* blue led: indicating data transmission

## Resetting 

By pressing the button longer than 5 seconds the configuration will be erased. The Smart meter side is leading and should reset first. 

Repairing is done by pressing and releasing the button once < 5 second<br>
