# Good to know ## Distance between the devices When there is a clear line of sight the maximal distance could be 200 meters. But in a building/home this will be reduced depending on the materials used. 50 meters in those environments are normal. ## Power sharing When the virtual dongle is powered by a usb adapter. The connected device will be powered via the P1 Out port. And the other way is possible too. Connected devices which has power on the P1 could power the Virtual Dongle via the P1 Out port. ## Reuse of hardware The hardware is identical to P1 Dongle Pro and the P1 Dongle Pro+. Only the firmware is different.
